Training overview

The online Safe Church Training (SCT) sessions uses a combination of written content, videos, scenarios and activities. You will need good internet access to complete this training. It is recommended that you complete this training on a PC or laptop rather than a mobile phone.

Each session will require a certain amount of time to complete. The following is a guide:

Level 1: Allow 5.5 hours in total to complete all three sessions of this training.

Level 1 refresher: Allow 3 hours to complete this training.

Level 2: Allow 3 hours to complete the training.


We recommend you read the 'iLearn Information' tab in each training session to fully understand how to navigate through the training content.

Important notice

Safe Church Training was updated in November 2023, and access to this new version of the training is available below. New enrolment keys will contain the number '23'.
